there's different versions of loss being discussed for real lol...

for the vast majority, 'loss' means its just not in service for the US anymore. when the army writes something off, more times than not they're getting paid to give it away or getting a bump for no longer having to maintain the shyt. and getting paid to come back around and train others how to use shyt they don't want.

at some point, stereotypes, half assed slogans, and memes gotta stop being a sole source of information on this stuff.

the irony is, you'll almost never see military telling people to join here in full seriousness. if someone wants to join? sure - you'll get the pointers and information.

all this extra shyt *always* comes from folks on the outside looking in talking about stuff they heard second or third hand at best

didn't none of this happen like that. Gohan was getting fukked up by Cell in a beam struggle. Vegeta distracted Cell enough for Gohan to win after trying to hurt Cell because he killed Trunks. Meanwhile Goku chilling with King Kai not around dead as usual eating food. Goku is never there for his son and still loses to Vegeta who always there for his kids.
