When you make access to health care and quality food an issue, you create a society of depressed unhealthy people. Look at how the average Canadian or French person is eating and their BMI and the difference is obvious. They prioritize health over profits, and you see it in the city design too. People walk more, breathe cleaner air, eat better food and access counselling, doctors, etc. as needed without having to pay an insurance company out the ass. The results speak for themselves with lifespan and incidences of chronic disease as well as average education level. Putting police out on the street and giving them quotas forces them to arrest people that they other wise wouldn't or else make up some bullshyt reason to incriminate a citizen and fill them private jails up.

They got what they wanted. They clowned Michelle Obama for encouraging kids to eat healthy and exercise and here we are. It is what it is

The U.S. military is concerned about adding transgender soldiers and lowering the standards for Special Operations so that more women can pass. We all know what side of the political spectrum is responsible for that. No need to mention the chaos and degeneracy in Western Society in general. I won’t attempt to pull what you did.

Honestly nobody on this board is gonna be able to tell you if getting waivers "looks good for you" or not, unless they're an AF enlisted accessions recruiter. Period.

It's so many categories: financial, security, drug use/criminal history, age, medical (physical and mental health), qualifications that can need or get waivers, and we don't know how fukked up you actually are. Just because other folks can get em doesn't mean you will. Different recruiters operate differently. Some might see you as hopeless and move on the the next dude, somebody might pity you or feel you deserve a shot.


Your best bet woulda been getting in shape ASAP and just sending it when you first mentioned joining or even a few months before you went to that Air Force office, but the recruiter kicked you back like the Mike Epps gif because he thought you were too .

Now accessions are even shyttier because of COVID and you've only gotten older and more .

Most people who go into infantry nowadays know being grunt is the suck.

In fact infantry fukking marine corps had a 13month wait when I joined in 2008..which is why I went Navy. I didn't want 03..but everything else was atleast a year wait.

Didn't say the South is only minorities, but that "fight for freedom" shyt is usually a white boy talking point.

At no point in time did a recruiter ever mention to me anything about freedom, democracy, patriotism, duty, none of that.

No they're not, not in the military.

Dudes running a 12 minute mile and a half in the Air Force are officially on that cardio time.

I mean, anyone that got a red or yellow in BMT was basically a whole hoe, and most of the fukks that washed out for PT (it happens ) were Reds off rip from that 1WOT eval.

Hell, even the outta shape doughboys were doing their six laps in less than 8 min/mile pace.

The folks who want to join due to the family tradition, 'freedom', and personal/ideological convictions (like the idiots who went to fight Russians in Ukraine FOR FREE) are not the issue with this kind of report. That motivation is the same type of energy that gets you out of bed at 5am to run laps and hit the gym well in advance of when that training is actually needed.

And the south is firmly the motherland of the infantry and combat arms alongside the midwest. Those kids got raised on war stories and VA money.
