The thing about tanking tho, you can be the worst team in the league by more than 10 games...but the max amount of lotto balls you can get is 25% regardless.

Isn't that flawed even for the blatant tankers??

I said it before and I'll say it again being a bad team is one thing throwing games on purpose is just fukin sad. Why even play the game when everybody knows u are trying to lose just forfeit. This is the same team that scored 0 pts against the bucks in the last 8 minutes after being up for most of the game.
So in your opinion you believe we're good enough to win but we're throwing the games purposely :heh:

I have no problem with tanking in a league where it's about having that one all time great player to contend..

These teams stuck in no mans land on the treadmill no god enough to contend and not bad enough to get an impact player in the draft..

With that said while I don't blame philly I even have to admit they're level of tanking is banking on absurdity

I can see trading vets but they're even trying to trade young players like mcw because they fear they'll win maybe 20 games instead of 15

I watched MJ do the same thing to Bob Johnson Cats.

We had a solid but old roster that probably would'very amounted to nothing but a treadmill team with Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace and those boys. We made the playoffs once and got swept by the Magic. Jordan/Cho blew it up and now we're on the come up after 6 years of struggle.

If David Stern loved us we would have Anthony Davis though :pacspit:

Who are they tanking FOR? :mindblown:
Does it matter?

Even if they end up picking 4th, that's still a hell of a lot better than picking mid-late 1st rounds and lying to yourself about your current roster. I really don't have a problem with Philly tanking - mainly because they're only doing what the NBA essentially encourages. Tanking doesn't even need to win you a championship. All it needs to do is put cheap talent on your team that you can mold, build around, sell high on, or market. You don't even get talked about unless you got someone on your team worth talking about.

They have a lot of talent and have the ability to win games in the east. They could make the playoffs, but they don't want to :mindblown:

they must be trying to get as much young talent with potential as they can get, because there's no Lebron, Durant, or even a Anthony Davis type prospect out there. People who follow prep ball can correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't heard of a player worth being historically bad for 2 straight years

We can't even say they have a future core right now because Embiid/Noel haven't played much yet.

They already have MCW, Embid, & Eraser Head tho. Their foundation is set
