That will be one of the biggest fukk ups in recent sports history. If we don't either stick with the process or sign fukking KD or Lebron or something this will prove to be the biggest failed experiment in at least Philly sports history, just ahead of Chip's Eagles and the "Dream Team" Eagles. Damn man what the fukk did we do to deserve such incompetent organizations?
Ain't ya'll got Villanova :what:

Just in time for Colangelo's dumb ass to take Bargnani with the 1st pick when they win the lottery this season.

My condolences Philly fans.

say what you want about colangelo

but he hired masai
hired casey
drafted valunciunas
drafted derozan
traded for lowry

it didn't pan out in toronto but dude did make some shrewd moved that paid off yeasr later

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Heinke's plan has been a success, Colango's are shyt and I don't know why they get the praise they do.
76ers owner should have stuck to his guns.

How has it been a success?

They had the three worst consecutive a season in history

One of their top picks hasn't played a game

Okafor and Noel can't play together

they have money to splurge on FAs and a excellent crop of young talent.
I'd think for a team that was in that limbo area, to get to where they are, stock talent and cut payroll like they did that is a pretty good turnaround.
There only problem in my opinion is really the coach.
If they get Simmons they would be the perfect payoff to their strategy

@Reinscarf

look at everyone hating on bryan colangelo like he didn't build this current raptors core. :heh:

exactly
dude hired masai when masai was nothing
he drafted derozan and people laughed at the pick when he did
he traded for lowry when everyone said he was a selfish pg who was on 2 teams and would never be a starter
he drafted jonas and took flack because he didn't come over until a year later
he hired casey as a head coach even though people said he doesnt have what it takes to be a winner

all they bring up is bargnani but hell in that draft out of the top ten picks, only aldridge, foye and rudy gay are still in the nba along with bargnani

could have easily ended up with morrison, tyrus thomas, shelden williams, patrick o'ybrant, mouhamed sene

Cap space is less of a factor with the cap going up though:francis:

What young talent?

Brett brown hasn't shown any indications he's an above average coach

Hinkie ruined relationships with agents by treating players like they were on his fantasy team

And everybody has cap space this season so why would anybody go to Philly over all these other opportunities?

MORE TIME? Breh do you realize through this whole process they really only have 1 player that can potentially be a multiple time all star?

The NBA should fine him AND the 76ers for this bullshyt. A team being this bad INTENTIONALLY is horrible for the league.
That's my only concern as well. Now's the perfect time to turn things around in Philly- the question is- would Hinkie continue to tank even more years if he remains the GM? Like he has the tanking vision down pat but does he have the non-tanking GM skills to move forward and actually improve and build a competitive team? Hinkie might be getting a raw deal but the Sixers would probably have to bring in a new guy to change the synergy and makeup of the team something like to fight a 'Newton's Law' type scenario.. 'something that's in motion tends to stay in motion'.

ATL…overly
they get Ingram or Simmons this draft and his process actually worked

:yeshrug:

No it won't. Up until yesterday the Sixers were on one of the worst three year runs in NBA history. Drafting another highly touted prospect means nothing if the player development is shyt and the team has a losing culture
