Heinke's plan has been a success, Colango's are shyt and I don't know why they get the praise they do.
76ers owner should have stuck to his guns.

Rumor is the Sixers owner is trying to bring an NFL franchise to London so he needs to turn around the team and make it respectable and [more] profitable ASAP (not sure if they're profitable right now). If that's true and he's basically just made the team a fukking experiment and a business proposal to prove he can succeed as an NFL owner then he's foul as shyt, (which is to be expected from a billionaire who specializes in buying distressed assets and flipping them for a profit a few years later). But it would also show how out of touch he is with sports fans, no one would support him owning an NFL team if that's really what he did by disregarding an entire city filled with one of the most passionate fanbases there is.

He saw the culture changing right before his eyes..Sixers were forcing him to win and he couldn't take it, he just couldn't stand being in that locker room where they were purposely trying to win games. He went out before the process was ruined. Good for the man.

Adam Silver was forcing them to try to win immediately and the pressure got to the Sixers owner because he wants to try to bring an NFL team to London. The fans were ok with the process we understand what the logic behind it was, and knowing that FA's aren't exactly eager to sign here we knew we needed to add as much talent through the draft as possible, while also building an insane amount of cap room.

:mjlol: those picks are pointless if your franchise has no stability they not getting simmons cause the league is making sure he is going to go to la probably one of those picks will work out and embiid will probably never be healthy and even if he does become healthy there three most promising players all play the same position so I would call that no progress.

I'd argue Ingram & Dunn are better fits for their team than Simmons anyway.

And no Ingram or Dunn/Embiid/Noel could all start together. One of those bigs will have to be moved but they'll still be a valuable asset in a trade regardless.

If you don't like the strategy Hinkie had then that's perfectly fine, but to argue that they're in same spot now that they were when he took over is laughable

Man what a shytty owner then, but that said I got no respect for any owner that lets an employee bully them.
Thats why Al Davis will always be the GOAT to me.

The Tank Squad Philly fans and the resident "tank or title" Coli dudes shedding tears tonite...you can read this thread and see the pain. It's niccas on this board that have been vocal Tank Life proponents for the last 3 years...proud of the historic L's and years of embarrassments. The dream is dead. I don't think the league will ever allow the shyt Philly and Hinke tried to pull to ever happen again.
