Uptown was mad nice when I rode the street car in New Orleans

Breh driving it was saying all the famous people that lived there or owned houses there

you was on st Charles. That ain’t the uptown that we talking bout. That’s one of the most historical areas and rich areas in the city.

Where this house at is in the trenches of uptown. Nobody paying that to live there. Ever in life lol

If that's the shytty part of town someone just being petty and making sure they drive out anyone who can't afford that massive property tax increase.
That area is filled and surrounded by low income and section 8 housing. Nobody is renting that shyt

11001 Highland Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70810 | MLS #2020000056 | Zillow

That 1st one might go for 7K based on its asking. The other two won't rent below 30-40k based on their price

no one’s saying bring back the jects but why would you gut and build out a 7k a month house in an area that is not that, why would you feel comfortable bringing 7k to a lower income area displacing the essence of New Orleans

I dont know your city so I'm speaking on how they did parts of New York..

Everything is 5 to 10 years ahead as far as planning..

They definitely have a bigger vision at play..

I'm sure Louisiana housing laws are way easier to circumvent than New York is..especially for the poor...its gonna be tricky out there for the ones who don't got

Crazy. If you look closely, the place barely has any windows. Four small windows… they dropped the price to $6k
