Damn, so much to unpack. First off, that was a hell of a match. Not hyperbole but that might squeak into my top 3 liked Cena matches. Always had Cena vs AJ Part 1 at Summerslam, Punk/Cena at Raw 1000, and the triple threat with Seth and Brock.

The reaction to Cody at Metlife threw me off. I wonder if they were going to go that way regardless of Cena's promo on Friday? Eitherway felt a little Hogan/Rock tonight and was expecting the official Cody turn. But it was a street fight also so everything he did was 100% legal

Looks like they just wanted to pull the plug on the Cena heel run afterall. I really was expecting Rock, didn't think they'd actual bring Brock back before all the trial stuff finished. Crazy

By far. Austin's turn actually did make sense in storyline and was built up along the way. It also produced probably Austin's best WWE in run ring during that Spring to early Fall. Cena's made no sense, had no build and was just shock value, and the matches were dogshyt.

• Do we give AF about a Cody title run because trips and em sure shyt don't
• Why bust your load on Bork at the end of summerslam when Raw could be the pop off
• Is Cody a face, heel, or this is one of those "embrace the hate" storylines that's tripping on its own shoe laces

It's like the entire Cena retirement tour is fumbling hard AF under that Triple Trust me Bro bullshyt booking technique.
