This is very surprising as much as people talk about Boston cacs being racist i always thought Boston was cac central.
Boston still gives off the impression it's a white dominant town, very much so. The blacks and Latinos are segregated to the point you won't really see any white faces at all there, and it's obviously a city within a city (I'm thinking Roxbury, Dorchester, etc)...
Then when you in Southie or other areas it's so white it's crazy...
Downtown Boston you'll see a bunch of everybody but the truth is you don't see much intermingling across racial lines, and the white boys all on The T dropping n-bombs the way blacks use it, with black riders in the same car. Not that this doesn't happen anywhere else, because for sure it does, but the "tough Boston white boy" stereotype is on display and easy to see when you're in Beantown...
I’m a bit curious as to why some cities let dudes from other cities come in and take over on some criminal shyt?
This is an interesting thing to consider. There are only a handful of places that I've run through where OTers just can't come through pressing shyt:
LA, SF/Oakland, Rochester....that's really about it, where you don't hear about nobody bullying blocks, but you also hear cats from these cities eating in other cities and states...
Funny thing is none of those places are the "hardest" or wildest cities around, but there is a certain amount of respect you gotta give the culture when cats ain't for letting anybody come in and do whatever...
I haven't been everywhere so I'm sure there's other places, like I've never heard of cats from OT taking over Nola or Chi, but my point is most cities are opposite. It's a free market and we have free movement and cats long ago learned to take the show on the road. The vast majority of the money and drama I got in was on the road, not in the actual areas I based myself in (in VA and CA)...
I hear nightlife is poppin. Is that true?
Boston nightlife was cool if you're into bar hopping...
