Louisville has seen SIGNIFICANT peaks in crime due to the drug trade from Chicago coming to Kentucky. And i dont just mean the streets of Louisville have been hot, the shyt is making its way into the larger Louisville combined statistical area which includes alot of rural counties as much as 50 miles away from Louisville. One of my HS peers was indicted on a massive (for KY at least) drug raid.

First of all Louisville has always been fugged up. Second of all the drug trade is not coming from Chicago. The drug trade is coming from Mexico. Are you all completely unaware of how drugs get into the USA and how the DEA has been forcing cartels out of Chicago, which is just rerouting drugs to other cities? Are you all unaware of the shyt going on in Mexico and all the murders occurring down there?

Yes I know that the drugs are originating in Mexico but Chicago and Atlanta are the main hubs for distribution.
Louisville at one point around 2007 was the seventh safest city in the nation with a population over 100k. Its straight
to act like its always been as dangerous as it is now.Now there are 2 caveats:
1. Honestly if you stay out the streets in the West End and Newburgh...and watch your back in Old Louisville/near Churchill Downs...... and arent into fukkery, youre mostly safe. The Cacs in Louisville of course try to act like the entire city is going up in flames (Louisvilles non white population is growing as well)
