Because men aren't socialized the same way women are. They don't have the social support in times of crisis that women do. Yall are taught to basically have no feelings, while we are encouraged to deal with ours and support others emotionally as well. It's a societal issue really.

Or if they know they have a problem, they may not know the proper resources that could help. Or they could feel more frustration if they did reach out if the mental health professional couldn't relate to them.

I.e. White woman therapist + black man = possible frustration and or resistance.
