LOL @ Jordan's being a long term investment with continuous value and growth. It's like there is Sneakers Futures trading or they are commodities bought and sold.
I'll be the first to admit, I love my Nikes, I have 40 some odd pair, but it's just shoes I like having. This is a borderline problem for dude, but there's no way he'll turn all of that into a profit. He can liquidate some really rare pairs for a profit, and probably a good one like that, but shoes have nothing more than a social market value.
I have yet to see someone that can officially appraise a pair of sneakers, like they would a diamond and all that. Until there's an official grading scale, accepted by insurance companies, financial institutions, etc. then a lot of it is very

If having a nice apartment doesnt give him any pleasure but wearing a fresh pair of Js does, then so be it.... my only problem would be if it was to the detriment of other aspects of his life such as he wasnt paying his rent but spending money on sneakers instead...
To put things in perspective If most of us were to add up the amount of money we spent on garbage over the ten years such as movies, clubs, weed, liquor we would be shocked at how much we had spent..... at least he has something to show for all the money
