$85,000 Sneaker Collection

For some perspective, I bought the pewter foams 2 years ago for $230. Literally the moment I got them, I didnt even know if I wanted them anymore (back when I had money to blow and was just hypebeasting). But I put them on ice and didnt wear them, just sold them for $420 .

Durants give you the best return tho. He has a stipulation that his shoes cant cost more than $100 (although I think they're slowing creeping past that) but they're being resold for $200+ at the least

nikkas is dumb, the problem isnt him collecting all of these sneakers. Nothing wrong with collecting sneakers, but nikka get a crib, a queen size bed, a whip.

People keep saying all jordans and nike's appreciate in value WRONG. Only certain J's and nikes appreciate. Some of them shyts depreciate soon as you leave the store with them.... example most retro plus color ways. Nobody paying 200 + for some royal 10's or white red and blue 5's or piston and lakers 6's or any of the thousand jordan 1's that came out

Pretty much only og color ways and a few retro plus color ways have good resale value.

I learned this the hard way....only a handful really appreciate in value. One of the reasons being that the whole "sneakerhead" lifestyle has become "mainstream".

I hate what its become, which is why I don't really fukk with it as much.

These days......I could care less about camp-outs, sitting at the computer waiting for a retro to be posted. If I happen to be online, or out and see it Ill buy it. Otherwise.....fukk that! What would I look like....a grown man trying to fight 15-16 year kids on a camp-out line because they tried to cut in front of me.....
