I swear I’m being genuine lol. I loved Cade coming out the draft and him coming into his own has been awesome to watch. I genuinely think this team has a bright future. That doesn’t change the fact that my team has been a major disappointment. All the reasons I thought this should have been an easy series presented themselves. The Pistons are young, inexperienced and not the most well coached. We just have not been able to capitalize on it and to me that’s on Thibs.

In my opinion? This team isn’t well coached on offense. For as great as Brunson is, we still live and die by him. And at the end of the day, he works way too hard to get shots up sometimes. It’s a flawed recipe for success. We don’t do a good job of breaking the pistons defense down as a unit. We just set up opportunities to do it in iso situations. Our best stretches and runs in this series were when all 5 guys were involved and getting looks. We divert from that too much.

Knicks living off of making hard shots. The degree of difficultly in Brunson, Kat, OG clutch shots isn’t sustainable. Each game they've hit some prayer to keep Knicks in it. Pistons get much easier baskets besides Cade who still has to work. But if Beasley and THJ make their open threes Knicks can’t stop Pistons. Knick need a jumbo PG to take ball out of Brunsons hands. He’s strictly a combo guard and not a good enough playmaker. Brunson takes KAT out of games more than any other factor.

This isn’t the team from a few years ago where you could just sag off Isaac Okoro.

They are likely going to lose Ty Jerome, but they made major moves. They also built Mobley and Garland. We would be in a much better position if even one of RJ, IQ, Obi, or Grimes was here. the FO been building up to this roster for years.

They FO got to be very smart, Lucky, and likely abuse those CAA ties to get out of this hole. Same with getting a new coach.
