They been making circus shots all series cause the scheme/plays don’t get them any East shots or is designed to get anyone else hot. Thibs offense relies the ball handler creating advantages and creating gravity to either score or pass to a open shooter.

In my opinion? This team isn’t well coached on offense. For as great as Brunson is, we still live and die by him. And at the end of the day, he works way too hard to get shots up sometimes. It’s a flawed recipe for success. We don’t do a good job of breaking the pistons defense down as a unit. We just set up opportunities to do it in iso situations. Our best stretches and runs in this series were when all 5 guys were involved and getting looks. We divert from that too much.

This is what I was referring to earlier. Whatever talent advantage the Knicks have over Detroit becomes null and void if the offense is just ‘01 Iverson with better shooters.
