You think they can go 2-3 months without getting paid with high ass NYC rent?:mjlol:

They got bills to pay and I'm sure a lot of them have kids to feed. They're going to fold before the city does.

Yeah if they are in the position I am in they can. I could not work for the next 6 months an be perfectly fine paying my bills. Blue collar workers like me for the most part always had savings accounts and can afford to miss a check or two bro, we aint McDonalds workers.

I really want to see the breakdown of what positions these people hold in the city. If it's who I think it is y'all aint gonna be saying 'fukk them' or 'adapt or die' in about 2 to 3 months when the cities infrastructure starts to go to shyt cause there isn't anybody around to maintain it.

Fukk em...they are easily replaceable....

Don't be suprised at all if these cities and local governments start to pull back on these vaccination mandates before too long.
I would be surprised. They're city and local govt jobs there's no shortage in people wanting those jobs. Plus no agency is going to be backed into a corner or higher insurance premiums over a fraction of their employees.

You better tell em bruh. If these jobs were so 'easily replaceable' there wouldn't be labor shortages in damn near every area of blue collar work right now. :russ:

If they so easy to replace stop talking about it and replace them and move on. :yeshrug:

NYC puts 9,000 workers on unpaid leave as vaccine mandate kicks in

While so many people were obsessing over the NYPD's number, only 34 of the 9,000 are cops. How?

:mindblown:

keep in mind a lot of cops applied for “religious exemption”. That doesn’t count as part of the overall number here. That slippery slope is how a lot will get around this. Bottom line is if you accept 1 person for the exemption you have to accept them all. Otherwise it’s discrimination and lawsuits will follow.

I know the religious exemptions don't count in that 9,000. But if 9,000 are out, like, who are those people?

I'll say this, I'm an electrician and I'm also one of the few people on my whole job who actually got both jabs, most people didn't even get 1 and will openly tell you they don't plan to in the immediate future. A lot of posters here don't realize the people not getting the jab, know they have a lot more leverage in this situation than posters here think. You can't just replace an electrician, plumber, or HVAC tech overnight, especially in a place like NYC where it's all under a union contract. Don't be suprised at all if these cities and local governments start to pull back on these vaccination mandates before too long.
Here in NYC, Those nikkas getting replaced easily. They will cut through a lot of red tape to fill those spots. They could fukking around if they want to
