Ive come to realize that sugar is as powerful a drug as "fapping" or kush..When I stopped smoking kush, I would have vivid ass dreams of being high..Over the last month, I've cut out all sugar( save fruit), I've had those same vivid dreams except about the sweetest foods known to mankind :dead:

that aside, the benefits are tremendous..Morning jitteriness is gone.Insomnia is gone..feel more energetic, i heal faster...

come join me in this quest of giving up this white drug for ever

I haven't been adding sugar to anything I consume for around 10 years. I don't drink soda or sweet beverages; I don't consume caffeine; I don't drink alcohol. I only eat/drink sweet stuff about once every 1-2 months. It feels amazing, I pity people who aren't living like this.

I do smoke weed though, but that's a whole other subject :myman:

I'm a type 2 diabetic and I can't do it but it's not what I ate it was what I was drinking, I was drinking 2-2 liters of pop (or soda, don't wanna cause no drama) a day I got in the habit of drinking diet pop took a bit until I got used to the flavor after that I moved on to those crystal light type drinks now I do mostly crystal light and water with a rare occasion of diet pop. Now I can tell when my sugar is out of sync if it's too high I feel sluggish and tired so I'll try to drink lots of water until it leaves my system and if it's too low I'll feel very weak so I'll need to eat a couple of pieces of candy or a half a can of regular pop to get my strength back. My scariest moment was when I was at work (General Motors on the assembly line) I passed out and collapsed they had to shut down for 10 mins to get me out of the way.

correct me if I'm wrong, but can't Diabetes 2 be reversed?

secondly I wanna know if my experience was similar to diabetic shock..

I used to be addicted to honey with oatmeal and dates(Fruit), now sometimes i would wake up and eat 2 handfuls of dates or oatmeal with honey, and without fail, everytime, I would experience this abnormal ass sleep paralysis, where first i couldn't move, then my neck/chin would be twitching like a beetch, and sometimes it would feel like my soul was trynna leave its body, sumn like a seizure...is this similar to what you experience?

I don't think so but if you eat right and take med (if you have some prescribed) then it shouldn't be that much of a problem

Yes type 2 diabetes can be reverse, I've seen it and know people that have.

It's no secret that since they started to put sugar in everything, heart disease has shot up. Sugar is horrible for you, except fruits. I recommend everyone to read Sugar Blues. It goes into the detail of the history of sugar, why it is so popular, and the dangers of it. I have maybe 1 soda every 6 months. Think about it, sugar rots your teeth, one of the strongest things on earth! Think about what it's doing to your inside. Your body cannot digest processed sugar, so it stores it as fat in your body, then it starts to store it in your organs.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with sugar. There are a lot of misconceptions about it. Sugars (carbohydrates) are an important physiological building block. The body simply doesn't work properly without the proper concentrations. Here is the problem though...like you said processed sugar such as HFCS are synthetic and unnatural. It's almost like a foreign substance, a toxin, because our bodies don't know or don't have the tools to break it down. So it gets stored in fat tissue. Only other thing I'd say is sugar doesn't rot teeth. Bacteria that feed off of sugar and produce acids as byproducts rot teeth...so brush your teeth. Long story short, natural sugars in moderation are no more unhealthy than say salt. Too much of anything is bad.
