Are y'all seriously gonna sit there and do all of this guy's while he sitting at home chilling getting paid just so you won't get called a snitch? Plus dude bragging about it, and he ain't even black, family, or one of your boys. What code are we even sticking to at this point?
This is a personal pet peeve of mine, so it's not directed at you exactly....... But how the hell did snitching become black or street shyt?
Do cops tell on each other when breaking the law? Do military servicemen? Are white criminals supposed to tell on each other? How about in government? What would either party call a guy who went to tell on party members? How about a sports team? How was Conseco treated? How is a player treated when he talks to the press about a bad player? How is a coach seen when he throws a player under the bus? What do corporations do to get people to tell? Have to offer incentives mostly.. Have to give them anonymous ways to report.. Have to hide their identity from EVERYONE if they tell. What does your own mother tell you about tattling? What does she say about sharing her family business with strangers? You think she'd be happy if you snitched on your brother or dad or her? Even if they did crime?
Why all these things? Because NOBODY likes a snitch/whistleblower/tattle tale. NOBODY. Because nobody is perfect, so the moment you start telling, they are going to not trust YOU. They are going to wonder what you telling about them, to whom, about what? Can they really trust you with secrets or even ideas? You're the type to tell. Can I bring you in to help me with something or will you tell on me? If the whole office has some days they leave 5-10 mins early or take a little less PTO, will they welcome breh into the team after they find out he's not only watching, but calling HR on them?
It's just not a black thing. Not telling on team mates is pretty much the number 1 rule of ANY team. You address it in house. Chain of command and all that. shyt your damn boss will warn you about telling on people
