The Deep State
I swear some of ya'll act obtuse for no damn reason. She waived her rights by refusing to sign the citation. There are no timeouts, or rewind button in real life. If she didn't want to spend the night in jail, she should have just signed the ticket and gone back to slurpin ole boy up.
The cop was in the wrong, even excessive UNTIL she refused to comply with the arrest.

Cop fukked that all up until he found a reason to arrest her. People are allowed to be annoying and annoyed, even broads who think they have too much clout or arrogance.

Heres where the cop fukked up:

  • park closed at 11, it was 11:50, he could have just told them to go home
  • ran their IDs for...what? they weren't doing anything.
  • didn't even give them a warning, went straight to a ticket. I'd understand if they were attacking him or just doing some reckless shyt...and they were doing none of that.
  • even if the circumstances call for increase police presence that doesn't equal increased police penalty. Thats two different things.
  • cop didn't fully explain why he was going so hard on the statute
Up until the point she wouldn't "put her arm behind her back" the cop was 1000% in the wrong here. Just a complete misreading of the necessity of force and presentation and engagement with tue public.

The cop was wrong.

Y'all do know that police officers receive bonuses for whenever they make an arrest. That's why some of them be so thirsty to make an arrest like in this video.

An officer with low arrests under their belt isn't a good look for them.

The woman had an option to sign the ticket and was given a pen to do so but the officer so thirsty for an arrest denied her the right.

The cameras were rolling and she put on her act

:mjlol:
Yeah, this isn't a case we should be trying to rally behind. She's claiming police brutality, but he was trying his best to still be civil, called her ma'am the whole time, didn't hit her, and out of everything she did, the one thing that she never did was comply. She brought this on herself.

That is the downfall of cameras rolling, these guys get reviews now and they can get reprimanded for not giving tickets. I have been pulled over and given a ticket by cops telling me they wont show up but they got to meet a quota. Just take it and keep it moving! Why do we always have to buck authority, they can take your freedom or escalate a situation at moments notice, that snarky attitude shyt she should save it for the meek dude she dealing with..

Also as a man, dude signed his ticket no issues! He should of told her to sign it also and follow his lead, passive leadership is the down fall of many, when she said no he looked and didnt say anything, he probably know she a handful and dont know how to check her. No matter if you feel cop was wrong and what he should of done, it was in her power to keep herself out of harms way.

What fukking video were you watching? He wasn't excessive at all. He didn't raise his voice once. He wasn't peacocking barking orders, trying to exercise authority. He doesn't owe you understanding. He doesn't have to provide two grown ass people with warnings. They're adults, and they know parks close after dark. They were trespassing...What sane fukking adult goes to a park at midnight? None. They're all transient, druggies or homeless people. He was well within his right to ID them. He was well within his legal right to cite them for trespass. You're just as irresponsible as she is...The world doesn't need to bend to your lack of integrity.

"So I don't have to sign this, right?"

"Yes, you do have to sign it."

"No, I don't."

"If you do not sign it, you will be physically taken to jail."

"Got you." *still refuses to sign ticket*

Seemed pretty clear cut

She went from having an attitude to "Please, Mr. Brooks" real quick

Of course you dummies didn’t read in typical coli fashion
Two murders occurred in two separate parks at night
Copbreh was just doing the job the city set forth in safety for residents
He was polite and did everything she asked but she couldn’t return the same to breh
He even told the breh she was with what would happen but she wanted to be hard headed
This ain’t a case of brutality
This is a case of a muthafukka not wanting to listen
Sign the citation
Fight it in court and if you still feel you were done an injustice
Fight it further
Not all these cases are equal and you numb nuts jumping out the window for this bird proves how far objectivity has fallen in this society

Exactly. There is no objectivity. If this same cop was arresting some white Karen who acted the exact same way there would be no damn capes. We would admit he did his job.

I suggest you watch the bodycam video. He was trying his best not to arrest her.
