By your logic, if one of Big's nikkas was robbed, he shouldn't have released Gimme The Loot/nikkas Bleed/Somebody's Gotta Die because of the potential he might hurt someone's feelings? Did you read that out loud & hear how ridiculous that sounds? Who Shot Ya is no different than any other violent aggressive rap he's done
Come on man, wtf are you even talking about?
Who shot ya was released when 2pac was in jail after being SHOT.

You cats are funny :mjlit:

It doesn't matter if Big had nothing to do with it & Pac was told to his face Big/Bad Boy had nothing to do with it. Yet Pac still lied. That's where you need to start lol. That lie is the cause of everything

What about puff knowing Pac was about to be disciplined by henchmen? He was tight with henchmen, gene deal claims puff knew or was privy to something going down. That would put a different spin on the story ..
2pac screamed on jimmy the night he got robbed. He was asking for it. Thinking shyt sweet

So we can admit that puff put out the song to fukk with Pac? That's all this thread was made for. The song was released to taunt Pac, you can admit that now breh?

no
no
no

puff did not release the song to fukk with pac ….. he released the song because pac went out of his way, to do an exclusive interview with a Vibe Magazine No.1 writer Kevin Powell and in that interview pac insinuate that puff and biggie and others were somehow involved in the quad studio incident. he basically painted the picture that they knew what was going to go down and after it went down, they turn their backs on him from being shot five times. Kevin took the interview immediately to Quincy Jones, and the others executives of the magazine and they came to the conclusion/determination that names incidence and such will have to be edited heavily to protect them. In addition, they called Andre and puff to let them know what was about to come out and give them the heads up …… this interview took placed January 15, 1995

(( with this said, puff and biggie. is not stressing it because it seems like pac is confuse or/and getting miss information on them =see biggie/puff MTV ))

(( a week or so thereafter , a certify nyc goon name E-money bags goes to visit pac in prison and tells pac yo biggie and puff had nothing to do with quad studio and actually the person who set everything up gave me a message to you ….. Jimmy henchman says you don’t want to go to war with him until you get your money up and he and only him is responsible for quad studio … pac tells E-money and that it’s nothing he can do because he already put out that biggie and puff are responsible & he can flip it and use the beef situation to sell a lot of records , so he can use biggie & puff with his gun shot wounds to start controversy and turn it into a marketing and promotion scheme =see prodigy book ))

(( in addition to this exclusive interview, more and more rumors was coming out from that interview & pac through his best friend, Randy stretch Walker under the bus by insinuating he didn’t do shyt , basically punked out as him, pac , fred & zayd entered the studio
And as they say, that was the straw that broke the camels back because immediately thereafter stretch went to puff and biggie and told them the truth that he did not get shot five times he shot himself =see fab 5 freddy ))

:hubie:
so by mid February of 1995 …. puff knowing pac is blaming him & biggie for being supposedly shot five times , with the truth being, he ONLY shot himself. It’s only makes sense to drop the ALL time classic song
Who Shot Ya ………have a good day.

It's deeper than all that. Shyt happened and was too late to withdraw some things he said, don't forget he was also told it was biggies homeboys that shot him, dude was in a situation where he didn't know who to trust or who was out for him, if he had any doubts about big or puff the shyt was confirmed when he heard who shot ya :manny:
Everybody played a part in the drama it wasn't just Pac

I got prodigy's book dude, I know what e money bags said .. and if I remember correctly it was stretch who told Pac what jimmy said, about not going to war unless you got your money right.

Gene deal claims puff knew Pac was about to be disciplined, so if that is correct, then everything changes ..

I would normally agree but Pac was visited on Rikers which changes everything & shows he KNEW the truth definitively but chose the lie. Henchman telling Puff anything makes no sense bro. Why would a certified nikka like Jimmy tell Puff what was gonna go down? Outside of maybe Haitian Jack & the stick up kids, who else would need to know? It's like Pac's allowed to feel some type of way about everything but not the nikkas he falsely accused

Depending on if this acetate was cut right after they finished recording (its usually the earliest form of a record to be made) you may be right.

The song was made at the end of the summer/beginning fall of 1994 - by da homie - Nashiem

I hear you, I just think there's more to the shyt than we all know, puff was in meetings getting cozy with jimmy, you know when something ain't right or a beef is about to brew, wouldn't surprise me if puff knew something

so now that I completely laid out the events prior to officially releasing the song

Would you agree that - puff had every right too?

E Money Bags told him Biggie ain’t have shyt to do with it. But by the time Pac got out. Biggie releases Who Shot Ya. Got the DPG trailer shot up. All kinda shyt. Not only that but Biggie dissed him on Fab 5 Freddy. So Pac looking at shyt completely different by the time he got out. U can’t just ignore the 9 months of a nikkas life leading up to him getting out. And when he got out. He didn’t even diss Biggie right away. Pac didn’t release Hit Em Up until summer 96. He got out of jail in Fall of 95.
Nah. Dpg was kicking the fukken city down, the city shot them.

Suge was heated with Puff for the Jake Robles shyt. So what does he do? He starts a competitive east/west thing, the media love it, the fans eat it up. He bails Pac out of jail, with the intention of continuing the marketing strategy, gets PAC to join in on the whole situation .

PAC happily obliges, he’s in jail, he’s paranoid, hes been shot up, he shots himself in the balls, he’s been raped. But MOB (protection), Death Row (Dr Dre, Snoop etc) and a bail out, it’s a tantalising offer.

So off goes Pac.

Surprised at your responses dude. Why dodge the topic of Puff going back and saying "95"

It was put out to taunt Pac. Is all I'm saying. It ain't gonna kill you to admit it :why:

And we know it was 30 years ago, but 2pac is more relevant than ever, so we're discussing the shyt this weekend

It was scrapped from the Mary album, thus it wasn't gonna be coming out in '94... it was reworked into a song for release in '95... so if it was coming out in '95, why would he NOT be saying "95" on the record?

As I've stated in every post on here, my point is the record was put out to taunt Pac. Contrary to what agenda the pro biggie people (albeit a small fan base that's mainly on this forum) wants to push :manny:
