Yeah, the Heat play D, but I question the strength of their moral. When you're dealing with dominant centers like Shaq and Dream, they devastate a teams moral. It can throw your whole game off.Especially from a mental standpoint. It slows the game down and knocks perimeter oriented teams out of their rhythm.

And those Celtic teams don't have a dominant inside presence. They're wily, but they're beyond veteran, they're over the hill.

Same Magic team that got swept 3 years in a row?

94 Round 1 to the Pacers 0-3
95 Finals to Houston 0-4
96 ECF to the Bulls 0-4

:mjhaha:

this. yea that magic team was fun and everyones fav after mj left for baseball. but they were pretenders. the 90s version of the early 00s kings or suns (or even the 09 magic :mjpls:)

Both Penny and Shaq weren't even in their primes back in 1995. I believe Shaq was only like 23 or 24 years old. Bron got swept by the Spurs at around the same age.

miami will prolly win one game :ehh:....but the series was over as soon as shaq came on the floor, they could barely handle duncan at 37, a young shaq is TOO MUCH.....bron would've had a good series tho cuz nobody guarding him on that team if the jumper fallin

He might not have been in his prime per se but he was still 27 and 12. Which would have been 40 and 15 against the Heat with Bosh or Birdman guarding him. We can go back and forth all day but I have little to no doubt that that Magic squad would have been the Heat. And you believe the opposite and since their is no way to really find out then im through debating this with you.

:manny: That's cool but lemme tell you 2 things about NBA basketball so you can never say you never heard this.

In the NBA: youth is never served and defense wins championships.

We don't even have to go into matchups and I'd take the Heat on those 2 very real truths alone. :yeshrug:

I'm a certified cHeat hater but I'm not sure '95 Orl beats '13 Heat...Orlando's supporting cast wasn't all that and not really pressure tested, which THIS cHeat team now is, whether us haters like it or not...better argument would've been '95 Orl vs '11 cHeat imo

So you're taking young Shaq over prime Bron? :ld:

I just don't understand why young Shaq used to get swept every year if he's better than the guy who just won back to back MVPs, back to back Finals and back to back Finals MVP's. :yeshrug:

:mjpls: FOH

Why did Shaq keep getting swept then? Pacers didn't have a big man better than Shaq. Bulls didn't have a big man better than Shaq. Jazz didn't have a big man better than Shaq. Yet all these teams swept Shaq's teams. :lupe:

those teams defended him with centers

miami would defend him with bosh and haslem :scusthov:

Yeah and a 23-24 year old Shaq negates that defense that would have no answer for him. And other than Shaq and Penny that team wasn't all that young.

are they guarding each other nicca :stopitslime:....shaq would b a monster on the boards and would have miami's big men in foul trouble pretty quickly.....like i said bron would have a good series but wade prolly wouldnt and penny was just too big for miami PGs
