The game today is less reliant on big men scoring in the paint and a bigger priority is held on threes (corner threes especially) and getting to the free throw line. The speed and physicality of today's game makes it more difficult for big men to stay healthy. It's murder on their knees and ankles.

I know about Nick Anderson. Which is why I also know he lost his manhood on the brightest of stages.
