Well, they went into a more electronic way now. If you want hiphop check out Connected.
It's 1 of the best produced rapalbums to me.

Check his album with Tigallero with Eric Roberson. That came out this year.

If you wanna hear his straight up rapping, then check out Little Brother's albums (especially The Listening, Chitlin Circuit 1.5 and The Minstrel Show).

You need 'The Connected' in your life! Top 10 album for me personally.

Take Off the Blues is one of, if not my top FE+ song.

Even though I'm one of the people who are a little salty that Phonte and FE+ kinda left rap behind after Connected, songs like Take Off the Blues makes it worth it.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Drake has said this himself before..

In this interview he also said Little Brother influenced College Dropout and Late Registration Kanye even though they didn't get any credit for changing the landscape...
This is av example and proof that sales don't mean shyt when it comes to quality.

No one disrespects LBs discog or contribution but they weren't massively popular at all...but they will be held in a higher regard than Drake in Hip Hop

Listening to the rap part of this song...Phonte is a great rapper, real talk.

Man I still remember when I first found out about them, I was surfing limewire for some mainstream hip-hop but all that shyt had was some Lil Brother - Get Back available. I'm stumped, don't know how to get the music I want so I download the album and I still remember my :scust: face when I heard the Can't Win for Losing.
Once I heard the lyrics though? Phonte got a breh hooked!! :ohlawd: I bumped the Get Back for 6 months straight!

So one of the biggest artists in the worlds favorite rapper is someone who ain't even known widely in the mainstream. Why didn't those two work together again?
