I know rappers have been rapping about clothes and fukking bytches since the beginning of time and they will continue to do so but there is no single redeeming feature about A$AP Rocky's rapping which makes him rapping about these subjects remotely interesting. No interesting wordplay, no charisma, nothing interesting delivery wise, just vast amounts of nothingness over sparse production. It sounds ok but shyt's just so fukking joyless man, IDK if listening to it more will change my mind tbh.

When has he ever rapped like that? Since his first project his strength always been beats and flow. He was never a strong lyricist.

I don't expect that from Rocky at all, I'm just pointing out how he's a pretty sub-par rapper on the whole, he doesn't even have much of a flow. I fukked with his first mixtape heavy but like most rappers of his generation he seems completely absorbed within himself and incapable of offering any originality in anything he does. This guy really thinks he's the first fukking rapper to rap about fashion or some shyt man.

Well Rocky never claimed to be a great rapper. I'm pretty sure he knows hes an average rapper but what separates him from the rest is his ear for beats and he can flow/rap on most beats that other rappers wouldnt even touch.

Not ever rapper is kendrick...

His delivery on these beats aren't even great I mean look what happens when Lil' Wayne, Juicy J, Bun B and Pimp C show up, Pimp C been dead for years and he still flowed on Wavybone better than Rocky.
