A$AP Mob has arguably the greatest ear for beats of this generation.
Hardest song of the past 5 years
Rocky had songs handed to him with hooks and concepts already made, all he had to was lay down decent 16s.
J Cole sucks.
As a third party observer to this thead, (like Cole and Rocky but they aren't my favorites) there was tons of blasphemous shyt said here. Rocky's content doesn't translate well to people who don't smoke, lean, pop pills so I can see how there would be a major disconnect. I also think Long.Live.ASAP was hit and miss. Lvl, Phoenix, Suddenly and Hell weren't up to the level of his other stuff IMO.
With that said, I think LiveLoveAsap was a game changer. That tape was even poppin in Houston where that style had been around for decades. The Album not so much.
I think that's just not true. I do none of these things and obviously I fux with the album heavy. Check the avi.
Rocky aint Travis Scott or the rest of these goofy rappers. As Cactano once said, the difference between Rocky's music and most of these druggies is that his music "brings you into the high." Clams's shyt is trippy enough on its own. That's the beauty of it.

I would argue that you don't truly understand his music unless you've listened to it in one of those states![]()
