Somebody higher up said the album is a mess sonically, and it is. shyt is all over the place and the album just sound as one long ass tracks mixed together by some DJ.

Brotha Man is as far as I've gotten, but those three songs are the only ones with any type of replay value as of right now

And ALLA is a great album

What do you mean it sounds like one long ass track im only 3 tracks in and non of the tracks sound the same, you want to hear a long winded monotone album go listen to the last project Tiller dropped.

This album takes a complete dive after fukk sleep. Calldrops, whatever song with carti mumbling, and brotha man some of the worst shyt I’ve heard this year. At least his last shot had some bangers like M’s and Lord Pretty Flocko in midst of the weird emo crap. Can’t say the same for this. Most of these tracks are just fukking annoying to listen to. Like shyt that will legit make you angry

I agree in terms of the first 4 tracks this might be his strongest start since LLA but it took a complete nose dive after, i think he needs to work more with clams and maybe even collab with EL P i think that high energy rtj sound would work well with rocky.

And i really wish playboi carti would stop making music he ruins so many great beats

Was really close to making a really good album BUT not one song stands out. Very 'quiet' album. Every single song is missing just one final oomph element. Plus rocky was just rapping jibberish if we keep it 1hunna

Very disappointed. Very very disappointed. Dude's had the worst fall off this decade, he should be at the echelon...he's that calibre...buuut, guess not. Oh well. Maybe he's strung on dust or summit cos this type of fall off don't make sense.

I think he got caught up in the Euro Cac/Hipster faux deep, artsy experimental wave i can see what he was going for but executed poorly imo he should work with someone like El P to get that energetic/experimental sound done correctly and idk what the fukk is up with his bars his features especially on the cosy tapes and Flowerboy were hard this just feels rushed.

This. Which is why I say Rocky has devolved something crazy.

When Rocky came on the scene with LLA, the 3 6 vibe was just ONE of three or four major styles he had. SGP gave him the 3 6 vibe. Beautiful Lou gave him the Houston screwed sound. Clams gave him a weirdo RZA/Havoc meets shoegaze type vibe. That new New York shyt. Ty Beats... hard to describe his sound. The guy who made the Brand New Guy beat (LeDuff) gave him some unreal superhero theme music sounding shyt - that new Atlanta. But my point is that heads like me were losing their minds at how all these totally different styles from all coasts got merged into one cohesive and brilliant tape.

Then it seems like after LLA, he went full tilt 3 6 for bangers and never came back. Then he filled out the rest of his albums with indie/kid cudi-ish/dangermouse vibes.

Thought FKA Twigs had given up music entirely after white dude left her. Odd feature. Listening to this now. Four tracks in. Only really into the A$AP Forever remix so far but it's early.

This album fukking sucks. There’s no way around that. I didn’t even have Live.Love.ASAP expectations, and it’s still not even good. Extremely forgettable album. Even the songs that start off good even up being ass cause the beat will switch up in the middle to some garbage. The only listenable album is Gunz N Butter, which doesn’t even have an actual Juicy J verse, just some damn adlibs. Rocky is done unless he can tie some strings to ASAP Yams and pull a Weekend At Bernie’s and have him produce his previous sound/aesthetic.
