YT doesn't count views like that if you watch a video 100 times it's not 100 views if not people would fabricate their numbers...

One person viewing the same video repeatedly would only generate 3 to 5 views a day, after views cross 300. A viewer being redirected to YouTube upon clicking an embedded video counts as one view. If there is an embedded video with autoplay, it is not counted as a view.

Basically once a YouTube video has over 300 views, somebody can sit down all day and watch the same video and at most they'll be adding 3-5 views to the count.

Royalties generated period aren't royalties generated for the artist.

The labels are getting paid. The point being made is that the artists are not. Technically, these artists are making what Little Richard made per song sold in 1949, at about
$0.005 or so per stream. That's not what an artist makes if they're selling by the unit, even in the worst of 360's.
