Are you basing that off the Big Bang Theory? Cuz that's the only show I can think of where straight nerds bang bytches.
the whole comic book, video game, anime nerd culture is celebrated now
they got reality shows about nerds
they cover video game, and other conventions on tv
they had G4 tv dedicated to it

Lol, I don't get why so much focus is being put on Steve when he treated Myra the same way Laura treated him. He wanted the hot, cool girl and Myra was the nerd. The same way Luara wanted the hot, cool guy and Steve was the nerd. People like hot, cool people. Not nerds. It's not that deep.:yeshrug:

Be with a woman who was likely a psychopath cause she "likes you for you" brehs :pachaha:

Remember that episode where Steve scolded Myra after seeing him in the buff? :mjlol:

But Laura's hoe ass starts feeling Steve after walking on him in the shower . No moral lesson there :sas1:

Sick of the disrespect Family Matters gets on here.

Agreed, I will admit that FM is not in that upper realm of black shows (Cosby, Sanford, Jeffersons. Martin, Fresh Prince, Good Times) but it was the longest running black sitcom next to the Jefferson.

I started watching FM again after I made that 25 things you didn't know about FM a few months ago (I literally haven't seen it since it went off air) and started analyzing it as an adult and I gotta admit Jaleel White was a very great slept on physical comedian for some of the stunts he was pulling on the show and the interaction between him and Carl was great chemistry and that's not shyt you can write in a script. I think with all the criticism black folks have for the show they tend to forget some of the better points.

Carl Winslow was the biggest piece of shyt sitcom father ever...

That nikka was worthless. His wife pushed him around, his superiors had him crossdressing to catch crooks, and if Urkel and Eddie doing whatever the fukk they felt like was any indication his kids had no respect for him whatsoever...

Thought everyone knew this?:yeshrug:

The subliminal messages round Steve were very destructive. How to talk, act, dress etc. nikka was a genius, but broke living in his parents basement.

Yes dear was a pretty damn good show

If you can get past the overall corny cac humor and scenarios, there's a lot of white sitcoms that have a good amount of hidden gem episodes and moments. Yes Dear is a great example

The episode where Jimmy thought Greg was in danger after he took too long picking up some ribs from the oh-so-dangerous "hood" area :mjlol:

Heavy D, Tone Loc and the other brehs in that episode had Jimmy shook as fukk :russ:

Family Matters was NOT a "Black Sitcom", yo.
It was a white sitcom with Black actors.

I feel like we gonna have to do this all over again. lmao

Yes, it had white writers and in no way shape or form do I believe its an accurate representation of a black american family but to say it wasn't a black show :francis: .

Sanford and Son had white and Jewish writers
