This doesn't really say a lot. Actually it does. Pay people a salary where they can live comfortably and the complaints will drop.

He's rich and doesn't depend on the work for a source of living. He can go in, work up a sweat and then switch off for the day. It will be less stressful than the responsibilities of running a company.

Sometimes it be like that. Get Away from the computer and paperwork, do a lil labor

I get it. As someone whose job is high pressure high stakes a lot of the time, menial jobs bring me pleasure. I love cutting grass for instance. I dont have to expend a lot of brain energy.

I actually experienced this myself. I worked at Amazon for about 3-4 months. Long story short I left a 6 year IT / Management job during cutbacks instead of switching positions at another location. I was supposed to start a contracted IT job right after but it got put on hold. Instead of doing nothing I grabbed an Amazon job because of how fast they hire. Ended up working there for about 3 months and really enjoyed it. It was the first time I could walk in do what someone told me to do and leave. All muscle no real brain power and nothing came home with me. On top of that the physical part of it really had me on a high like working out for 10 hours daily. Ultimately before I left I started getting those taps on my shoulder like hey would you be interested in moving up, so I took on added responsibilities which lessened the fun of being a cog in the wheel. Then I put in my resignation and they fired me same day for trying to do a two week notice lol.

He was already rich. This doesn't work for the average person. :comeon:
Right this mfer ain’t worried about feeding himself or having healthcare only if he’s employed, so he’s not feeling the pressure of the anti union propaganda, the time off tasks dings and not getting bathroom breaks

His material needs are already met and not tied to his employment, unlike the average person. It’s a completely different perspective

Did Jeff Bezos ghostwrite this?

This man should have maybe picked up hiking if he wanted some exercise and not be stuck on a chair
Did y’all read the article? The depression of his was mitigated because of how unforgivingly grueling the labor was, a stark, eye-opening contrast to the conditions that caused him to burn out at his office job.

You think Jeff Bezos ghostwrote a piece that talks about how insufficient the benefits are, if they can even be termed as such, and focuses on the impact the schedule would have on those with children?
