Is the guy they draft in that slot going to be as good as Al Horford :jbhmm:

Also Boston has to do something with those picks...surely they are not going to use all of them and just draft 8 guys and wait for all of them to develop...

And then what...they become a really good team in...2020:jbhmm:...Stevens might bounce for greener pastures then...pun intended.

I would rather have 3 first round picks this year and Al Horford than 4 first round picks and no Al Horford...

Assuming Al is going to stay in boston of course...
Well you don't know if he will stay, that's always there being a factor

Boston can wait till the draft to make moves with their picks. What if Blake is on the table this summer like some think? Boston could load them up with some young talent to retool on the fly with DJ and the end of CP3s career

and correct me if Im wrong, but can't Boston try to sign Horford outright this summer if they really wanted him that bad?

and Stevens isn't going anywhere, they have done nothing but collect assets and steadily improved since he got there. It's a good situation for everyone right now

I think that Brooklyn pick is better as a hypothetical than it really is in reality. If they come up in the lottery and get the top 2 then it's a great asset. But if it falls 3 or worse I don't really see them getting a prospect better than Okafur or Horford or anybody else that's possible to get with it at this point. I wouldn't trade it for a player on an expiring though without some assurances. But if they wait until the summer and the pick isn't as high as hoped they may lose out on the leverage of the pick all together.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Jah and KAT together would be NASTY

@tremonthustler1 doesn't like Okafor.

Memphis just need one upgrade outside of Conley, Gasol and Green. Evan Fournier would be perfect but he's the best thing about Orlando as far as pairings and winning is concerned it with Orlando clearing all that cap, he's gonna get paid and unlike Harris, he deserves it.

Nah, they need more than just 1 upgrade, unless of course that 1 piece is a elite scorer they wont win anything with the core they have now.

We had all those picks last year though and couldn't move up 6 spots to get Winslow even with a huge offer (of all picks)

We have 3 first rounders and 5 second round picks, we really should just trade all those picks but the Brooklyn pick cause we aren't adding 8 rookies next season and our 2nd rounder picks will just be stashes

I would make a huge offer for Okafor if I'm the Celtics, might even trade the Brooklyn pick for him...

i doubt Smart Bradley Crowder or Isaiah go anywhere but everybody else is potentially up for grabs in deals for some of these players on the market

t now with [Love's] large deal in place and physical questions (sources say a knee problem may be more of an issue than his back or shoulder), how much would the C’s be willing to offer? And, again, that presupposes the Cavs change their stance and look harder and what Love could bring back on the open market.

This is Bulpett speaking for Ainge clearly

Danny is saying Cleveland wants too much but no one else would come close to what the Celtics are offering

More Ainge

The pick would not be in play for Al Horford, but that matter seems moot anyway. The C’s have had no recent talks with Atlanta about him, and, in addition to what the Hawks might want should they move him, it is clear from sources that the Celts are not willing to pay the 6-foot-10 center big money when he becomes a free agent in the summer.

We won't trade the Brooklyn pick for him and we aren't giving up the farm for someone who we aren't sure will be on the team next year...

They don't view horford as a $30 million dollar player

Basically Danny trying to get them to lower their price
