Nope. This generation has learned something we didn’t. fukk money, especially at a young age. Imagine breaking yourself down for fukking fast food, dealing with shytty managers and shytty customers.

this country is heading somewhere different and I’m glad. Soon enough the fast food model as it is won’t be sustainable. Kids don’t wanna kill they self for a chick just to play some bum ass student loans for the rest of they life

So what these "kids" going to do in the mean time? Either lay in the house being a unproductive bumb, or stay going to school, accumulating more debt doing the college scam?

I have absolutely no problem with a generation going another direction, but I absolutely see nothing beneficial coming out of this for entry level work..

Online orders have made Chipotle by me uninhabitable during lunch and dinner.

So many restaurants don’t know how to handle these app services. One of my favorite diners turned shyt due to poor load management. :francis:
How about you order online yourself too:mjlol:

It's 2021 and nikkas complaining about walking up lol

15$ a hour in California isn't enough to have a car to sleep in
So are teens or young adults not suppose to work these jobs now? Just fully moved out of parents house, irresponsible grown adults? Why would a 15-16 year old kid need a “livable” wage, while living with their parents?

what is the standard to be a chipotle worker? My chipotle looks like all young kids, why would they need a livable wage? So every single job, regardless of skill required or difficulty, or that a literal teenager can do, should have a livable wage? :skip: Even though this job should have 50-75% employees that dont actually need to live on their own ? :skip:

Like 1/4 of these jobs are staffed by teenagers traditionally.

Have you ever worked one of these jobs for a serious length of time?

If minimum wage had gone up equal to america's production since the 60's it'd be 24 an hour right now.

The baby boomers are just selfish and raping everybody, tell us we should work harder when they had it easier by every financial metric.

Went to Jersey Mikes when app orders started popping off last year....the amount of online orders plus the shyt they'd normally have to do actually shocked me :picard:, and they had the nerve to only have 3 workers. Corporate left them nikkas to the wolves....they wasn't ready at all :francis:.

You even had bytch ass customers waiting in the corner, arms folded looking mad as hell that their orders were taking too long :mjtf:. I would've walked out on the spot.

why the fck y'all lie so much? :pachaha:
Posters here use the most extreme cases. Single parent with 3 kids with their back against the ropes :skip:

Chipotle here pays like $17/hr. Even at 32 hours part time a week thats $2200 a month! For a 15-18 year old! But lets just say you were a full grown adult making that and dead set on not living with your parents (or cant), get some roommates or something damn. Majority of people just hating looking in the mirror.

From age 15-21 i worked min wage jobs(sometimes 2 at a time), while going to trade school. I built my resume up and got hired at AT&T

min wage, 17 years ago, was $6.25 when I started at Jack in The Box at 15. Jack In The Box is now offering $17.50 /hr here to get employees.

whats the inflation on $6.25/hr in 2004 to now? I can almost guarantee its not $17.50/hr.

its not a hourly issue. The goal posts will always be moved. Amazon offers $20-25/hr to start here. Still cant fill jobs.

its that with social media, kids dont want to work.
