Zegna is tier 1, to me, it's one of the hottest mens shoes out, may be the best shoe I have ever worn
just got a pair this week
a lot is just the difference in a brand being hot and cool vs better quality, but it's all on a scale compared to many other brands.
a lot is WHERE it's made. Burberry is all made in China. Brunello, Zegna, Loro all made in Italy by hand.
rather than a list, it should be like a scale with categories. The hottest brands in fashion aren't going to be Hermes, it's a classic look. They are two different things. Balenciaga isn't trying to be Zegna.

A lot of mid s*** hidden behind legacy names. Palm Angles has to be some of the weakest gear I've seen only circulated through swagless artists/influencers. Acne is pretty basic as well but they got some pieces. Dudes all of sudden messing with Kapital (which has pieces as well) is lol worthy too.

Because that's where it belongs. The brand doesn't meet the criteria for tier 1 or 2
Some in tier 3 -5 maybe. You won't find tier 1 and 2 brands being made in china

Gucci is the beats by dre of the luxury fashion industry. hype and marketing over substance. The quality of the materials and construction are below par, their horsebit loafer being the exception, everything else they make is mid quality and trashy
As far as YSL is concerned, their quality is better than gucci but they lack the quality and exclusivity of tier 1 and 2 brands
I compiled the list myself hence why it's missing some brands that I forgot to include.

@ massimo dutti, allsaints, and paul smith being in the bottom tier. Those some brands I rock on the low that I get comments on
Harrods in London might be the goat luxury clothing store given it's size, selection, and variety. It's the store I finally got to put my hands on Loro Piani, Kiton, Brunello and a lot of other brands I rarely see in stores. They had hella casablanca, rhude, and Kaptial type brands in there too so I could finally gauge the sizing of shyt
I will be honest. massimo dutti and allsaints stacks up to some in tier 4 in terms of quality but it lacks the exclusivity
DKNY is squarely in tier 5 with the likes of Michael kors,coach,hugo boss et al
