look its obvious the chiefs wanted a qb with some nfl experience. they wanted either foles or smith. they didnt want to use the number 1 pick on a qb. whats the diference between drafting a qb in the 2nd round or trading for a qb with the 2nd round pick. the point is that 2nd round pick got you what you wanted. i believe in andy reid and his system. the problem is the chiefs are terrible everywhere. i dont even know where to start. offensive line- do you let brandon albert walk? you need wideouts- i doubt bowe wants to be there. tight end, cornerbacks, linebackers.

See this is the idea I see too.

Reid wanted a QB, he didn't want to wait 2-3 years to compete and instead of rolling the dice on a rookie (he did that in the past with Kolb & Foles) he preferred taking a guy who has played for years in the NFL and has proven what he can do already.

Now I think he could have handled the bargaining better, but i`m happy he didn't.

Kaep also sat for a year and a half and was coached by arguably one of the best QB developers in the NFL today.

If Geno Smith was what you say he is, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now.

Andy Reid is a QB coach, he has the 1st pick overall if there was a franchise QB in this draft, i`m sure he`d try and draft that man.

No one thinks this QB class is any good, Geno seems to be the only QB even worthy of a 1st round selection.

Leinart run a 4.5? Flick the ball 50 yards with ease? Throw pinpoint streaks 25 yards down the field?

They are nothing alike in physical skillsets and collegiate pedigree.

Hey he might be great, but it doesn't seem like everyone is sure of that.

He's no Luck or RG3, there is doubt surrounding him.

I personally think he's not going to be good, I could be wrong.
