you mean Melvin Ingram, and no I didn't want Melvin Ingram. Arms too short.
I wanted either Upshaw, Doug Martin or David DeCastro
Upshaw = Superbowl champion
Martin = BEAST
DeCastro = got injured.
Coples did OK. I hope he progresses.
I know for fact when we picked Coples, you wonder why we picked him over Ingram. Coples did good in second half of season, and only gonna get better. Coples is gonna be looked at as a good pick down the line. Rex knows how to draft defensive lineman.
I dont know if Bell is back.
People have been saying how bizarre it was the younger guys werent getting reps/burn when the season was done...Allen, Bush, Davis...Jordan White all should have been playing. Instead we bring in Braylon and have Bell playing every snap.

And yet no one would trade a bag of chips for Sanchez and Alex got traded before you can even trade players
so the colossal bust is more valuable than your starting QB
I didn't Want Ingram though. I don't know why you keep assuming I did.
Jets fans at Radio City wanted Ingram. I wanted to get a guard, for the same reasons I want a guard now.
dont get how thats considered a bad thing...dude was a career journeyman...he had two very good years in SF and bounced around the league after

Average Qb's don't go to the probowl 4 times. He wasn't talented but he was a good QB. He stunk in Detroit and Cleveland, but who didn't?
He shouldn't be comapred to Smith since he isn't in the same category.
Anywho, I feel sorry for the fans of any team that lands him.
29 year old QB from CFL comes in and in first full year starting throws 30 TDs and 10 picks, as well as 4000 yards in late 90s/early 2000s NFLPlus Garcia spent a good chunk of his prime in Canada, finally came over to the NFL at 29.
