S/O to @Dreamzeedream for the thread idea.

I know it's a cliche statement but how true is it in your opinion?

Are you more honest when you are drunk?

I see the argument for both sides from personal experiences.

I feel a lot more comfortable to express feelings when I'm drunk.

I have to have my phone taken away because after a certain amount of drinks I've been known to drunk call, text, and post.

I actually met my husband when I was drunk.....that was an adventure.

It make some people do crazy shyt and some spill the truth they're hiding and others just relax and do the same shyt they do when they're sober IMO :yeshrug:
facts..i've said some wild brutally honest shyt to people when drunk..like this one time i told my boy his girl was "basic bytch p*ssy" at a party, and his girl was there :patrice::pachaha:

See the thing is tho is lowered inhibitions and not giving a fukk = to real honesty?

:jbhmm:

I've had times where I've drunk confessed to things that I really didn't even feel when sober.

Or at least wasn't sure about in reality, but I said them like they were facts when drunk.

I wonder if it's less plain honesty and more an opening of your subconscious thoughts even the ones you hide from yourself.

Come to think about it, I've had women pour their heart out when drunk and wake up not remembering.... In reality they weren't into me.
