Nah, actually many consider him a diva lol. I think Joe Torre mentioned that in a book and it wasn't the first time that it was talked about.

I think he could be hired on as a hitting coach though, struck out too many times for my liking, but still has a career average near 300 and going to close in on that all-time HR mark also.

As a mets fan I hate the Yankees but always loved A-Rod. If you followed him in the off season you shouldn't be surprised by what's going on. He talked about how this was the first time in like 25 years he had a season off. It's paying huge dividends. It's the first time he let his body rest and recover. He's an all time great and baseball is his God. He takes the shyt serious. With everybody against him I knew he'd come back strong.
