People typically finance their college degree by working in the service industry and getting tips.

The service industry prefers to hire women rather than men, and in the service industry women tend to earn more tips and make significant money. This pushes men into more physically demanding but still decently paying jobs.

College is too expensive for most people so they don't go. The problem is a lot of jobs require a college degree. You'll be seeing a lot more frauds and scamming including straight up fake degrees popping up.

The year 3030
got my undergrad in marketing, and it was at the cusp of SM really taking off...all the bullshyt I "learned" in classes is practically useless, had to learn all the new SM / marketing related shyt myself.

Guess can't really blame college per se, but all that old marketing shyt is ancient, pointless now.

Everyone needs SOME post-secondary education: trade school, 4-year university etc.

A high school diploma and nothing else does nothing for you UNLESS you come from a well off background with family willing to financially support your entrepreneurial ideas.

If you have a knack for working with your hands and don't want to sit at a desk all day, go into the trades.

If you're academically inclined, you have to start thinking about your future early in high school. Can't wait until February of your senior year in H.S. to start talking about college. Need to be taking AP/IB classes, evaluating your own strengths and weaknesses and then figuring out how you can parlay that into a good future.

If you struggled to get Bs in every math and science class, you're probably not a mathematician but maybe a biz major

Quit the respectability bullshyt.

I made it out of a fukked up ass school district, into a top 10 university, graduated in 4 years, and was the only person in my ENTIRE FAMILY to attend college.

I got nothing out of it. It was a scam. Graduating from a top 10 university in the entire world got me nothing but hundreds of rejection emails.

And now I can’t even go back to college for a second degree without permanently putting myself into lifelong debt because financial aid only lasts 4 years.

Waste of time and money.
What did you major in?:stopitslime:

I graduated recently (business major) and I noticed as I got to last few years, there were less and less men in my classes. Freshman year, at least 1/4 of my classes were men but by my senior year, I was literally the only black male in all of my classes. It was mainly white women/men, Asian women/men, Indian women/men and one or two black women at best. So this is a very real issue.

A bad majors a bad major.:yeshrug:

Doesn't matter of its a top school or a community College. If the major is not profitable than its not gonna be worth it.
Not even top 10, top 5 ranked university on the planet :stopitslime:

FOH I have people I graduated with making 300k at Amazon and major companies who stepped into their roles before graduating bc they had connections :camby:

Your ass ain’t gonna tell me systemic racism don’t exist :camby:

Let's face it...its gonna collapse because colleges refuse to slash tuition prices. Let the post high school academic system burn to the ground, and the defenders of it die as well :yeshrug:

Alienating over half of the population, on an essential institution of society, is asking for collapse.
