The price is cheaper because it comes with less
The ps4 is more powerful on paper but that does not mean the harware is "better"
Ps+ will have no "free" games to give a way for a while and no upgrades to PSN means online service will suck.....again

- attaching a mandatory camera and forcing y'all to pay for it, isn't a win --- it's a serious loss. i haven't even seen a kinect game that looks enjoyable. why do you hype devices that's doing nothing for you but marketing?
- "Ps+ will have no free games" then why is that the exact opposite of what sony says? what games do you play on live currently? i've had XBL and made the switch to PSN, and it's always been the superior service imo. it isn't forced on me, easy to navigate, has everything i want to use.
- why do bots pretend Sony/Playstation doesn't have a track record of exceptional exclusive games? they pulled the same shyt last console cycle and have nothing to show for it now. ask any xbot whats a good exclusive and they'll have nothing to offer. come on, meach, what's some good xbot exclusives that came out within the year - or is going to come out in the near future?

I could deal with everything else from M$ but this is the dealbreaker for me. I'm not paying for something I don't want and zero interest in. Until Snitchbox gets rid of its camera its still

It adds to the experience of most games, and it makes interacting with the device a lot easier and more convenient. Voice/motion control is how we will interact with our electronic devices in the future whether you like it or not. Not to mention the Skype and game streaming advantages it affords.
What free games could they possibly give out? The ps4 is not backwards compatable do you think you will be getting brand new ps4 games? They already said they are giving you a demo for the first month.
Xbox has a history of great exclusives as well. Xbox exclusives actually sell. Xbox fans like playing them. Ps4 stans just like talking about your exclusives cause you sure as hell aren't buying them. Both gears of war and state of decay came out this year. No your just pointing out your own hypocrisy. If your all about privacy and consumer rights then you shouldn't allow any of those devices into your home, or I should at least see you on here campaigning against those devices as much as you do the kinect.

how is voice or motion control faster than the click of a button? have you ever used siri? 9 times outta 10, you can do whatever you wanted manually before Siri can process what you're saying. i like to listen to music, podcast, and youtube videos while i'm playing games. how will this interfere with kinect? actually, you aint gotta answer that cus i don't care, won't be buying one. i just know you couldn't name a kinect GAME worth purchasing, isn't that what it's for?

there is no hypocrisy, just common sense. cellphones and internet are mandatory in this day and age, almost impossible to live without them. having a console with surveillance system is NOT mandatory. my computer doesn't have a mic or camera. my phone is in another room on the charger. not the same as having camera in your entertainment center, facing you, with a mic, connected to the internet -- it's a false equivalency

Cell phones and Internet are not manditory. They are your choice. As we've learned over the last couple of weeks the overwhelming majority of goverment spying happens over cell phones and social media.
Common sense should tell you that the goverment has no need to spy on you jacking off on your couch.

who's talking about ps4 right now? we're talking about 360/PS3. if the argument is going to be microsoft has a plethora of great exclusives, you should be able to name me more than that shytty gears of war and the indie state of decay.

now, with that said. cellphones and internet is pretty much a necessity in todays society, if you want to argue that, be my guest. if the governments main method of spying happens on social sites and cellphones, what leads you to believe kinect wont be used at their disposal as well? they wanna watch me beat off on my phone or read my fb messages, but wont use direct access to me via kinect? and what about hackers? i use to turn on peoples webcams with sub7 back in the day. what happens when them fourchan dudes figure out a way to view your camera?

That's all software which can/is being implemented in your phone. If they are hacking your camera and Mic they can make it do all the same stuff kinect does. Microsoft has explicitly said it won't even transmit any information without your expressed permission.
