So I have been playing with this Ask A.I. app. Today, I just input suggestions like "Top 10 rappers of all time" just to see what I would get and these are the results (it even gave me details that I didn't ask for):

The debate over the top 10 rappers of all time is always a contentious one, as there are so many great rappers with distinct styles and contributions to the genre. However, here are ten rappers who are often considered among the greatest of all time:

1. Tupac Shakur: Tupac is widely regarded as one of the most influential and iconic rappers of all time. He was known for his passionate and politically charged lyrics, and his tragic death only added to his legend.

2. The Notorious B.I.G.: The Notorious B.I.G. was a legendary rapper from Brooklyn who is often mentioned alongside Tupac as one of the greatest rappers of all time. He was known for his smooth flow, vivid storytelling, and larger-than-life persona.

3. Nas: Nas is a highly respected rapper from Queensbridge, New York, who is known for his lyricism and storytelling ability. His debut album, "Illmatic," is often cited as one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time.

4. Jay-Z: Jay-Z is a rapper and entrepreneur who has had a huge impact on the hip hop industry. He is known for his business acumen as well as his smooth flow and lyrical prowess.

5. Eminem: Eminem is a rapper from Detroit who is known for his rapid-fire delivery, intricate wordplay, and often controversial subject matter. He has sold millions of albums and is widely regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time.

6. Rakim: Rakim is a rapper from Long Island who is often cited as one of the most influential rappers of all time. He was known for his complex rhymes and smooth flow, and his style helped pave the way for the golden age of hip hop in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

7. KRS-One: KRS-One is a rapper from the Bronx who is known for his socially conscious lyrics and his influence on the development of hip hop as a cultural movement. He is often cited as one of the most important rappers of the 1980s and 1990s.

8. Andre 3000: Andre 3000 is a rapper and singer from Atlanta who is known for his unique style and creative lyricism. He was a member of the group Outkast, whose albums helped push the boundaries of hip hop and introduced new sounds and styles to the genre.

9. Snoop Dogg: Snoop Dogg is a rapper from Long Beach, California, who is known for his smooth flow and laid-back style. He has been a major force in hip hop since the early 1990s and has released multiple hit albums over the course of his career.

10. Kendrick Lamar: Kendrick Lamar is a rapper from Compton, California, who has received widespread critical acclaim for his socially conscious lyrics, intricate wordplay, and innovative production. He has won multiple Grammy Awards and is widely regarded as one of the most important rappers of his generation.

That list shouldn't be a surprise to anyone because all the AI can do is regurgitate the data it's been trained on. In it's training data these are the names that came up the most with regards to comparing emcees.

I agree for the most part. 8/10 aren't a surprise. It is normal to see Pac, Biggie, Nas, Jay Z, Eminem, Rakim, and Andre 3000 on these lists. Maybe KRS, but it seems like LL or BDK make more lists than KRS. Snoop and Kendrick were surprises though. Kendrick is more so a new entry that is starting to appear in more and more lists. Snoop is a rare sight on these lists from what I've seen.

Everyone there is expected. Those are some of the names you always see on lists since lists have became popular.

So I asked ChatGPT to do this and the list was similar

I guess I'm a detractor of this AI shyt.

But I came to say the above. It will only give you an average list. It is the definition of averaging millions of inputs
