While not spoiling anything I already said they need to combine novella two and three into one season. After that, no, there is no more direct material but we know the ending because it was spoiled already in the original show, just like House of Dragon was spoiled already in the original show.
I know breh, the problem is going to be after both them seasons is over , The 3rd novella is probably his best work to me with Bloodraven the gawd in it.

But let's be realistic how much time is GRRM going to have to give out more material there is a basic outline, sort of like the dance of the Dragon story with much less material.

The problem is if GRRM feels like they go about it in a way he didn't mean to he will go out there and start beefing with the show runner online after glazing them for adapting the work. It's a guarantee he will, He did it for GOT and For House of the Dragon
And that's not a good look for the network. They specially HBO change stuff for their Agendas like having Rhaenyra diking cutting characters until later seasons. He was a failed TV writer for a reason he doesn't play well with them Exec's

I think they are delaying waiting for him to Kick the bucket and deal with the estate planner sounds cold but that's the way this exec's get down. Sucks for us the consumer he has had now 14 years + to finish up all these stories he is just a ADD perfectionist with lots of cash , he doing shows with Robert Redford , editing Wild card Books getting involved in Fake dire wolf projects, he got a Movie theater a Book store , his autograph is basically worthless because of how many books he has signed he loves the lime light, he's got fukk you money and lots of toys there is a 95% chance we never get these stories while he is alive. They will however bring in a team to complete the work after he has passed.

Weekly rollout for six 30 minute episodes….this could flop majorly ratings wise :francis:

I love the novellas but the trailer didnt do a good job of selling the show, even though they put a dragon in it which is a pump fake as there’s no dragons involved in this lool

It was clear that was a paper dragon, not issue with it. Those are in the books too.

Making a 30min show is questionable but at the same time we're talking about a novella. This didn't need 6 hours (1 hour per episode). I wish they had done the opener ep and finale as 1 hour eps, then everything else 30min.

It’s clear to you that it’s a paper dragon because you’ve read the novella….the cut is so quick that anyone who’s not read them will be watching this under the assumption there’s dragons in it, due their familiarity with GOT and HOTD.

Regardless, the trailer was underwhelming but it I’ll still be watching.

So Mandolorian and Grogu set in the Gane of Thrones-verse :unimpressed:
Can't answer that question without getting into spoilers

And if you dont know that it's a fake dragon, lord Jesus :palm:
