People eat up all of the propaganda but i would rather deal with some third world countries' law enforcement. I rather get shaken down for money than get arrested for something i did not do, forced to silence unless confessing to a crime or otherwise get my stay extended until i do. After all of that possibly being put in a prison where i can't move or speak or else i will be punished.

Some real dystopian shyt.

Would you also be willing with doing time in a third world prison?

Pretty Boys
I wonder if they got Nigerians in there
:mjpls:

A lot of cats get caught trafficking. Dudes from Nigeria, Belize, etc.

But also dudes from Turkey, Israel, and a bunch of other places.

The Japanese legal system is nuts also. They let EVERY military member know this as soon as they step foot in Japan during INDOC, but they can hold you in a Japanese prison for up to 30 days, release you, then hold you for another 30 days until they get a confession out of you.

THAT'S JUST FOR CHARGES! They could have zero proof you did anything, and they could [and would] hold you hostage in order to get you to admit to something you haven't even done:skip:. That's why their conviction rate is 98%:damn:.

If you don't have money for commissary, you get force-fed fish heads and rice also:scust:

Holding Time
Not sure what it was back when that happened, but they can hold you 3 days, 10 days, 10 days.

You have to see a prosecutor and a judge within 72 hours, but they can hold you for up to 20 days (10 days, see a judge, another 10 days) if they choose to while investigating.

A lot of people in there for drug use or public drunkenness are held for all 23 days, just to teach a lesson.

Food
I don't know about fish heads. You get three meals every day. All three are bentu boxes with rice and some form of protein.

It isn't like a piece of steak or a fish head, it's disgusting mashups of food and it's always served cold.

Refused to eat the first couple days but kind of sparingly ate after that. Always ate the rice (with soy sauce) and drank tea.

:francis: In some places, no matter the offense they throw you in and forget about you... I remember my homie's pops telling me how some of them joints in Haiti are so overcrowded your "cell" will be the yard exposed to the elements and regular folks already starving over there so God help you if you think they're gonna feed you on a schedule, if you do get fed it's probably just bread and oatmeal everyday :picard:

Would you be willing to deal with a legal system that determines you guilty from the jump, holds you for weeks into months under extreme duress without bail, all to elicit a confession for a crime that you may not have committed AND the police know you did not? Regardless of the crime that they say you committed?

Would you then want to stay in a prison where every your every single movement is controlled, to the point that not sitting exactly as they say can result in severe penalties, regardless of what crime you may or may not of committed?

This is something i would expect from a country like China or North Korea, but not from a "civilized" country like Japan.

Where did i say that i would rather be in a third world prison you non reading slow in the brain head ass goofy?

No where in that quote says what you are claiming. Like i said, i rather deal with cops harassing me for some money rather than them arresting me on false charges and torturing me for a confession to a crime i did not commit. Next time READ and if that is not possible for you then don't respond to people.
