tlr needs to be hidden from public view until new members hit a certain post count and can show that they’re at least somewhat knowledgeable about sports, hiphop, culture or piff. I know tlr is the main revenue draw for the coli when it comes to traffic, but there’s way too much at stake imo. A few bad apples can spoil the well for years to come.

I don't disagree but we need to expand mod powers and/or add more admins.

There is currently only one active admin, Houston. He's also the only one that can ban.

Mods can only give warning points, and they can only do it in their respective sub-forum.

So if I'm a mod in The Film Room and there's an issue in The Booth....I can't do shyt.

I'm one of the more visible mods so I've had people PM or @ me in TLR with an issue....again, I can't do shyt.

If you add more people via registration without taking all of this into account....it's going to be a clusterfukk.

If they are looking for some technical people to assist with shyt, I'm available. I would actually enjoy doing it as a learning experience and I enjoy that shyt legitimately. Plus I do SWE for living and so this is second nature to me to some extent.
