It's so exhausting having to explain this. it's not about making sure black kids don't get to learn about their history, it's about preserving white supremacy and maintaining whiteness by making sure whites are indifferent and apathetic to black people's struggles.
These laws and the kids doing the complaints are part of a coordinated astroturf campaign paid for by right wing think tanks and nonprofits. This didn't come out of the blue.

Whats truly amazing is that they're not even that good at their jobs on this. They're just trolling and mocking around but they're lazy about the reasoning but are brave enough to dare to pull it off and know that no one will challenge them.
The rise of private schools were directly in response to Brown v Board and their increasing opposition to minority enrollment and their underfunding of public schools is a result of racism.
This is the Post-Obama and George Floyd backlash. It's damn near the same post-reconstruction game plan. From the school boards to the courts to the laws. They're running a full play right now.

Weird flex because one of the main recruiting incentives private schools and home-schooling networks are using right now is, "Get your children out of those WOKE public schools!"
Like 3/4 of the existence of private schools is to keep White kids away from Black kids or at least away from having to learn anything that will offend their White parents.
