This kind of denial is simply a defense mechanism to the reality that millions of dollars does not solve every problem.

Athletes losing it all isnt a new story. We've all read accounts, seen documentaries, hear athletes speak themselves, and some of us saw local high school stars rise and fall.

What doesnt add up is the way this story is being presented on camera.

They are adding extras and embellishing the shyt. Filthy stove, grimey sink. shyt looks like a crackspot that got raided last week, and the tenant kicked out yesterday.

Looks like a quick money grab project he filmed before he had to serve his time. With reality TV extras

Is this real?

He could be living in any other city, with lower cost of living. Public housing or not.

Was that part of the conditions for his release or parole, that he had to live in NYC?

Seems like a gimmick for a series/documentary that he's shopping.

That dirty ass stove is what leads me to think that this is not what it looks like.

I thought that too until I seen the part with the kids, those rooms was definitely where they lived, apartment has hella roaches too..I didn’t feel bad until
I saw the kids..like imagine your pops was a high school phenom went straight to nba had adidas endorsement out of high school and you get born after all that and have to grow up in the same projects your dad did while hearing about how “legendary” your pops is while roaches crawling on you while you sleep..

I watched it hoping it was cap but when your see the part with the kids you’re about the whole thing.

Just the way he presents it all seems like a reverse MTV cribs. He’d be out of his mind to move his stuff into a rundown project apt for sympathy and hoping one of his NBA acquaintances throws a lil bag his way.

If it is true there’s no way in his right mind as a dad this kids should be living that way.

But the reality is ALOT of people in NYC actually live like this in buildings that will never be fixed up because damn near every apt is is such bad shape.

With that said mans better spend less time making videos and more time trying to provide. He could still finesse his way into a little assistant coaching gig at a high school.
