Might be fake.... Honestly, he wouldn't qualify for public housing.....

If the apartment was still in the family, they could've just thrown him on the lease.

He has kids, so they would take him. But they would just adjust whatever the rent is.

It's just wild to see how bad Bassy fell off. Dude was a legend in NYC. But the bad decisions and recklessness pretty much started with him, on day one. I still root for him. He just never had the right people around him.

Sh*t is crazy.

Same thing happened to Teddy Riley. He said after all the hits and success in the 80's, he lost everything and had to go back to the projects. When you're from the PJ's and leave, the last thing you're thinking, is that you'll have to come back someday. I can see in Bassy's face that he's going through it. Especially as a dad. This story f*cked me up.

I watched it hoping it was cap but when your see the part with the kids you’re :patrice:about the whole thing.

Just the way he presents it all seems like a reverse MTV cribs. He’d be out of his mind to move his stuff into a rundown project apt for sympathy and hoping one of his NBA acquaintances throws a lil bag his way.

If it is true there’s no way in his right mind as a dad this kids should be living that way.

But the reality is ALOT of people in NYC actually live like this in buildings that will never be fixed up because damn near every apt is is such bad shape.

With that said mans better spend less time making videos and more time trying to provide. He could still finesse his way into a little assistant coaching gig at a high school.
This is how he’s surviving. He’s hoping he can make some change from YouTube, and likely believes some company is gonna give him a bag for a series or something.

He’s not gonna be able to get any coaching job, he’s headed to do jail. And if Bassy was willing to get a job in the first place, he wouldn’t even be heading to jail at all.

Thought earliest you could take NBA pension is 50?

He has ten years of service so he should get a good bag when he's eligible

Nah, he wouldn’t qualify under any circumstances.

This is a clout chasing move or he’s crashing there illegally. Son is a clown.

He could move back in if the apartment was still in a relative's name. That's public housing 101.

I grew up in Mitchel Projects in the South Bronx. Kyrie Irving's father is from 205, I grew up in 215. He played pro ball, ended up leaving to get a Wall Street job. Lost that job and had to move back to Mitchel and had Kyrie with him. Mario Elie that used to play for Houston, same sh*t. Lost bread and moved back to Douglass Projects, to get back on his feet. Those are the two projects I was raised in. We used to see both of them. Former players have moved back to the PJ's plenty of times, back in the day.

He will only get a few bucks from YouTube unless these videos do Mr Beast numbers.

This shĩt might be a Hail Mary to his for NBA brehs to throw him a few stacks
