Uh. no.. did you see xbox first conference? The only thing that came out of their mouth was TV. Don't make me post the youtube video.

Then you have the name. Xbox 1. "All in one entertainment console"

Then you have a quote from a M$ employee that specifies that if you want to play games, go buy PS4.

:stopitslime:

That's nice. Now how does any of this negate the fact that nearly every aspect of hardcore gaming is improved on the Xbox One?

What are you not getting?

do you see all that dude said. thats a WHOLE lot of explaining. most people have the attention span of a flea. we all know it.

like yall say when you see a post more then 3 sentences "DID NOT READ"

look at it like this. MS is the democrats trying to explain to you that these republicans are insane and lying. yet there's a lot of people believing the republican nonsense even though the fact checkers called them flat out lies 99.9% of the time. how can that be the case? because the dems have so much to explain and its a bit complicated, PR team or not. you explain to much you lose the slow people and the DID NOT READ people. same rule applies here.

yall will just have to see how it goes. i say this. if you can find $500 and change. get that box. test it out. give it a spin. if you aint with it. SLANG IT. and get that ps4. assuming you cant afford both consoles.

i think everyone needs that box in their lives. thats the new new right there. try it out first.

i am just fukking around with the consul war stuff but as more information is coming out what microsoft is doing does sound interesting.

My man said "If you don't like it, cop a PS4 :jawalrus:" :laff::laff:

While everything he said was necessary, no way should it have been presented at a reveal or at E3 like this. With the way you clowns run with the littlest of stupid shyt, the internet would be flooded with corny memes and gifs with Sony riding that wave to sales.

But it really is as simple as he makes it seem. If you don't meet the reqs, if you care a lot about used games, if you have absolutely no interest in other forms of entertainment, GOODBYE. Who's to say two console need the same policies? If all this flops, MS will adapt. If it's successful, YOU will adapt.

All we have in here is a bunch of people who had little to no intentions on buying the next Microsoft machine. An ENGINEER just gave you the real on damn near everything and its met with

"man thats BS"
"useless information"
"not of that will happen"
"lies"

:comeon:

:what:

What the fukk are you talking about? How are hardcore gamers left to rot when gaming will only be IMPROVED? Some of what Azure servers provide has been WISHED for this entire generation by people who take gaming seriously. Not to mention DVR for gaming, uploads, and streaming. Hardcore gamers, of all people, will have internet damn near 24/7. Maybe you meant "hardcore cheap nikkas" or "hardcore cop and swappers," but hardcore GAMERS? :childplease:
I'll agree that some of what MS is doing is good for gaming, but lets not act like "always on" and forcing you to have a Kinect attached is apart of that. Some of this was to make gaming better, but mostly it was to make it better on their terms. Whoever else be damned. I guess what I'm saying is, lets not go too far down this road and act as if Microsoft isn't a corporation. Lets not word all of this in such a way that if they fail, they are damn near labeled as martyrs. At the end of the day, this is about them making more money and not about them looking out for you, so if it happens to align with your lifestyle, then thats great for you, but despite what that engineer says, they ARE gonna force it on you if they can. It feels like what the engineer is saying is "We have it right, whether you agree or not. We know we are right, and you are wrong to want things any other way than how we have laid it out and because you don't want it like we say it should be, you are holding up progress." But in my view, his viewpoint is what holds up progress.

I don't want the conversation of how the future of gaming should be explored and monetized to cease with whatever Microsoft is doing. Thats another thing that seems to be coming from the pro Xbone crowd. Almost as if MS has the answer and somehow if you disagree you are stymying innovation. We all knew digital distribution is coming, but did the industry intend for it to be as MS sees it? I'm not sure if anyone asked that question. Its an important one.

What forms of entertainment are MS giving that isn't already available? TV? Sports? Movies? Seriously, I can already do that shyt. What. The. fukk. Are. You. Talking. About?

Exactly. So shut the fukk up and buy a PS4. You saw the reveal. You read the OP. You know exactly what they offering. You have no desire for the Xbox One experience. Ok.

Wait, are you the same poster exposed earlier by @rapbeats for having redundant multimedia devices, yet complained about the Xbox One being a redundant multimedia device?

Two things homie

1. You didn't answer any of my questions to you about what MS are actually offering in regards to entertainment that I don't already have.

2. No, I wasn't the person going back and forward with rapbeats about redundant media devices. But since you brought up "redundant media devices" I think that I'd the best category for Xbone at this point.

To piggy back on what rapbeats just said, it's not that MS is the only answer to forward innovation. It's that they're in the position to risk the most. Sony just came off a struggle generation. They weren't in position to risk a damn thing. MS ate real good off a basic console and put themselves in a power position which resulted in what we have now.

Trust I don't agree with everything, just the pros heavily outweigh the cons for my situation. I'm happy they're pushing the envelope, though. Set high standards, receive criticism, find a middle ground. Two steps forward, one step back. Progress. We just took two steps. We'll see if MS bends a little.

As retarded as half these Sony stans are, they do serve a purpose.

Cheaper and you don't have to worry about their addition services marketed in your face.

#2 , redundant media devices.

ipod, iphone(should sell your ipod stupid, the iphone is an ipod as well),
Ipad, macbook (wait, so you have a little baby laptop and a real adult laptop, but the baby laptop has the same apps as your iphone... why did you drop another $400+ again?

oh i know why. just to say "i got that new tech."

well if you feel that way. then pick up the xbox one.

everyone or anyone with a smart phone and a pad and a laptop might as well pick up a xbox one.

Its Sad That Alot Of People Wont Take The Time To Read That, Great fukking Points In Favor Of XBOXONE

Everyone and their mother complains about how gamestop fukks them on their trade ins, getting 5$ for their used games. We come in trying to find a way to take money out of gamestop, and put some in developers and get you possibly cheaper games and everyone bytches at MS. Well, if you want the @#$@ing from Gamestop, go play PS4.

I actually have a lot of use for these things, the problem is I already do all these things relatively easily, just without voice control. You understand what I'm saying right? They are not a major selling point to me.

Also, I am one of the few on this board who was looking forward to Xbox, I like the idea of illumiroom and augmented reality, those appeal to me greatly. Tv, bluray, streaming, Internet, I already do these things. I don't need to purchase a $450 device that will let me do these things. I really detest the DRM shyt as I buy and sell used games. I also by online too and am an avid consumer. But hey, if its "fukk off and buy a ps4" than you know what, ok fukk you too MS.
