They keep saying maybe and possibly... For this to work the prices have to be lower. However it is very dumb to require logins to play games regardless. What if I'm at the cottage or in a remote area so I can't game cuz no Internet?

sad thing is more than likely he's no an engineer. Its sounds like more of a rationalization of the ultra fanboy. I still want to know how the "play your (digital) games at your friends house" will work. Will this be cloud based gameplay or will you have to download the 7+gig game to your friends XBone before you can play.
Because if it's the latter (you must DL before playing) then that will severely impact how sharing friendly the system actually is.
I won't be getting one regardless unless they change things, but I'm still curious how that is going to work.....

Only thing that strikes me is the GameStop talk. Just cause you buy PS4 doesn't mean you're gonna fukk with GameStop. Any smart person who knows their practices haven't fukked with them for a few console generations. It's an option that they are taking away though...

Here's the thing. Sony can easily push the consumer to prefer DD games over physical discs with the PS4. That's what Xbox fans fail to understand. It's not 1 way or bust here. It's funny, but I can tell a lot of these Xbox stans don't know shyt about PSN or PS3 in general, because Sony has already started doing a lot of stuff digitally with their Store front that MS is getting around to now.
For instance, people are hyping up game sharing on the One as an incentive to why DD games >>> physical games... that is an advantage, but guess what? PS4 will give gamers the same option to download their games day 1 of release as well. Sony could easily paint that picture as two why you may want to download a game instead of having the physical disc for it. (game sharing vs trading in for example) Sony really has the strategic advantage over them right now because they are giving the consumer more OPTIONS. And that's what it boils down to. It'll always be that way.
