The amount of white and hispanic single mothers I see on a daily basis is ridiculous.

This scenario is highly unlikely because most women wouldn't want to work if their man could fully support them. But for the sake of arguments lets say she wanted to keep her job and it didn't conflict with her duties

around the home then yes she could keep her money and do whatever she wanted with it.

I'm not the business of pocket watching women. If she wants to make her own money and keep it then fine. But as the man of the household I make it my obligation to pay all the bills BY MYSELF.

I think this is a myth but then again I’m Haitian and in Haitian society most girls want to achieve something and actually commit to their career. Actually I notice this for African and West Indian women also.


As far as African American women go a lot of them are taking their careers seriously and not opting to be housewives

All that shyt sounds good... 60 years ago when women stayed home and took care of the kids. It sounds foolish in this era where your wife could up and leave the moment the wind changes, especially considering that men and women are starting to be treated equally in the work force. Women dont need men in this era, so there's no reason a woman should depend on a man when she can do just about anything he does.

Most people today dont have the luxury of affording a decent living with kids with just one income, marriage is a partnership. If both parties aren't willing to put in 100 percent , then it's not gonna work. Call it broke logic if you want, I call it reality for the vast majority

Me and my wife go half on all living expenses, and I pay for the extracurricular activities like dates and vacations. I'm not interested in that old fashion shyt where I pay for everything and also dictate the whole relationship, my wife has just as much input on our marriage as I do cause she puts in an equal amount of work.
