I think it does matter how stupid he looks because he is claiming to be a face of the movement. To the person who may not know what that subreddit is about and the first time they hear about this big movement is this interview its gonna make it easier to ignore the actual message of the subreddit. This mod completely misrepresented the whole meaning of the subreddit.

Hello, I'm a 21 years old male, long-term unemployed and an Anarchist. I've been surfing this Subreddit since 2020 and it helped me in my journey when I started to began to be unemployed. When I began to read this Subreddit I was a leftist-liberal, namely a social-democrat. I've been reading some of the recommended literature from the library since then, for example Bob Black's "Abolition of Work" and have been radicalized to an Anarchist.

So they are going from a 30 year old dog walker who works around 20 hours a week to a 21 year old "long-term" unemployed anarchist to represent their movement, yeah these next round of interviews gonna be just as cringe


Reading around it seems like they actually had a good thing going, but these loser mods ruined it. Fox could have hired someone and it wouldn't have been as awful/damaging as this interview.

It's ridiculous that one person can be the face of 1 MILLION people regardless They told him not to do it, he's just a mod.

They brought exactly who they wanted and they could easily dismantle onto their platform.

If you look at the posts on that subreddit.. people were working 60+ hour work weeks, 7 days a week, and their boss/manager would tell them to come in on their vacation days or tell them they have to come in when sick with a flu/fever because of a shortage of staff!

Managers would also guilt trip people getting paid bullshyt because they couldn't come in. I remember one poster had to take their family member to doctor's visits and even informed the employer of this prior to being employed, and the employer still said we don't care, you have to come in.

These people are not saying they don't want to work.

Just as an FYI,

The antiwork subreddit wasn’t “anti work” in the way people might think. They aren’t against getting a job or anything like that.

It functioned more as a place to highlight bad work conditions, unreasonable work requests, bad management….that sort of thing.
