:yeshrug:this the norm on my FB these days,

anecdotal yes

but it's brehs starting legit businesses of all kinds

from landscaping to massage therapy etc.

Easy, support black people that decide to do things outside of ball playing and rapping.

See a breh doing YouTube videos streaming video games? Support him.

See a breh who likes to make apps? Support him.

See a breh who wants to get into marketing? Support him.

See a breh who wants to make an e-commerce site that is actually worth while? Support him.

See a breh writing a comic book series? Support him.

Can’t keep supporting gangster rappers, while not supporting anything else black, and expect change :manny:

I'd hope that nobody on here thinks that. Poverty is obviously a huge underlying issue.

But that said I'm not going to act like the fact that a lot of black people grow up listening to music that glorifies murdering other black people isn't a factor.

More often than not they don't think of it as "their" culture, moreso some shyt that they listen to for fun. Unfortunately a lot of black kids grow up with it and consider that shyt as an actual lifestyle to aspire to.
These are big assumptions.

Now we have to dig into who they're actually listening too.

J Cole, Drake & Kendrick are the biggest artist right now, they don't glorify killing. Gangsta rap is not as big as it used to be to get all this blame.

Da Baby, NBA YoungBoy, Pooh Shiesty and Lil Durk (the biggest artists right now) aren’t Gangsta Rappers to you? That all I hear people blasting now.

Yourself compare with street dudes ..ok
:mjlol:

I honestly don't believe you actually know any black people in real life

Have fun

Well, I’m Black. My family’s Black. I’m Born and raised in the Blackest major city in America (Detroit). Your statement that there are no “rich” Black People killing other “rich” Black People is false. You didn’t mention what type of success (professionals, entertainers, entrepreneurs etc.), but just “rich”.
:yeshrug:

You can Juelz and correct your prior false statement if you like. Doesn’t really matter to me. I just feel obligated to check silly nikkas like you that spout dumb shyt.

They're not as popular as the artists I just mentioned no, but even if they're up there, in the context if the last 10 years like the OP was talking about gangsta rap has completely declined compared to back in the day, nerd rap, soundcloud & rage rap are waay bigger. The answer is well staffed mental health services operated by experienced certified professionals who understand ADOS intergenerational trauma. This should be fully funded by the government for anyone who can trace their lineage and verify that they are descendants of the slave trade. With all the ancestry dna resources available this shouldn't be too difficult. People who qualify should then be incentivized to go. Maybe if you can certify that you finish the program you get extra access to money perks or resources.

You idiots keep saying these crimes are driven by people that are starving.

your solutions are garbage and they don’t solve crime.

As many in here have said there’s a small number of black people doing violence and it’s not because of lack of opportunity or desperation

Our country has an illegal gun problem and poof black communities are most affected by it. We have to fix how many unmarked and in registered guns are in people hand

Back to my original point. Criminals are getting slapped on the wrist for a few reasons and Covid has made it much worse

The reason crime started going down in the 90s is because of automatic weapons being bad and the killers getting serious time

the killers are home now

Those things work for all the races who aren't being ravaged by intraracial crime so why not us?

And speaking of garbage solutions you say "we need to fix the number of unmarked and unregistered guns in peoples hand"

illegal weapons are always gonna be on the street. If anything we need to increase the amount of legal firearms in non-criminal hands.

Lil nikkas will think twice about shooting into a crowd of innocents if the innocent start bussing back.

Id also see evidence of Black killers "getting slapped on the wrist"

Let me ask you this. Why are educated and/or well off Blacks less likely to kill another Black person compared to the less educated and well off?
