I just got a 40 piece Catfish for 68$ and it's fresh as hell and seasoned amazingly. My fish spot on Warren and Conner.
Shop at local food places, especially fish spots. Some of them have some fried chicken that slaps.

We used to have this place in SF for decades ... I grew up eating there . And my family and everyone we knew ate there .
Fridays used to pop ..
They got closed down or priced out .. I get a taste for them every time fish is mentioned ..

I pulled up to McDonald's for breakfast on election day. I had a deal on the app for buy 2 breakfast sandwiches for $5.50.
So I pulled up to the window at the drive thru. I saw the drink was an extra dollar, and the hash brown was $2.49. I just pulled off and went to the grocery store to buy stuff to make my own breakfast sandwiches, and a 20 pack of hash browns.
